Iwobi, from farewell to the League to candidate for the European elections for FI. The PD lines up Berizzi with Gori
Politics takes immense and often incomprehensible turns. There are militants who after 20 years of service to the party don't even see a seat as a municipal councilor and politicians who leave one door to immediately enter another, skipping the hierarchical queue. A fairly widespread system that does not exclude controversies and internal outbursts in the secret rooms of the parties.
The most recent example is that offormer MP Iwobi who, having left the League, was welcomed into FI and immediately included in the lists for the European elections for Bergamo.
However, there is no shortage of friction at CXS too, where the outgoing mayor of Bergamo Goriwho has been in the field for some time with interventions on international politics, will have to deal with the Repubblica journalist Paolo Berizzi, who has ended up under guard due to threats received from a handful of nostalgic fascists.
A name apparently expressly wanted by the secretary Elly Schlein which once again demonstrates her perpetual obsession with the black danger to the national government and now also to the European one. As long as they don't have other arguments to put on the table, the feeling is that Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni will be able to continue to govern for the next 20 years (er, let's say 30 come on), even when drunk.
The music on the left will not change, Italy or Europe, the important thing is to fear the danger of fascism, not realizing that these arguments not only do not move half a vote, but also often irritate those within the PD who would have other much more interesting and concrete to spread.
