Ballad of Antara was one of the games in this evening’s State of Play. It was shown with a gameplay video. It is an action role-playing game by TripsWorks Studio, published by Infoldgames, which will be released in 2025 on PS5 (for now the only version announced, although there is already talk of a multiplatform title).
The game’s plot tells of a distant land on the brink of destruction and a perilous journey to reclaim it, facing enormous divine creatures.
Lots of action
In the video you can see several characters in action, which appear to be playable. The idea is that of a very rich cast, but we will be able to tell you more about this when we know more about the game. You can also see some decidedly suggestive places, including rocky mountains on which imposing cities stand, desert lands and snow-capped landscapes.
The video also shows moments of combat, in which the characters use different weapons and different powers against decidedly threatening enemies. In short, it is certainly a title that fans of the genre should start waiting for with some anxiety, although obviously we will have to see more to be able to judge it.
