The weather alert issued concerns some specific areas of five regions. These are Abruzzo, Basilicata, Calabria, Molise and Puglia.
Italy seems to be divided in two, given that there is talk of weather alerts for several regions from the Center to the Center-South. For the islands, especially in Sicily, there is more talk of a red bulletin for the heat than of bad weather.
