Austrians will vote on Sunday to elect a new president, with incumbent Alexander van der Bellen considered the favorite to win.
If he wins more than 50% of the vote, he will win another six-year term.
However, if none of the seven presidential candidates obtains an absolute majority, a run-off will be held between the two candidates with the most votes.
Opinion polls last month showed Van der Bellen had the support of nearly two-thirds of voters.
And Walter Rosenkranz of the Freedom Party came in second place in the polls.
It is noteworthy that about 6.4 million people are eligible to vote in the elections.
The last polling stations close at 5:00 pm local time (1500 GMT).
