AT&T Mexico announced its return to the entertainment world through an alliance with OCESA, becoming an official sponsor of the GNP Seguros stadium for the 2025-2028 period.

We are excited to return to the world of music and entertainment, fundamental expressions for our clients, and what better than doing it in a scenario as iconic as the Gnp Seguros stadium,” said Fabiana Porta, vice president and general director of Posta and brand of AT&T Mexico.
The company also has a presence in the sports field as an official sponsor of the National Team of Mexico, the América de la Liga MX Club, the Red Devils of Mexico and the NBA in the country. “With this sponsorship, AT&T Mexico seeks to continue connecting more people with exceptional experiences,” said the company in a press release.
This strategy is aligned with a context in which customers are increasingly demanding and value proposals that offer additional benefits to traditional services.
According to a study by the McKinsey consultant, 80% of the value generated by the highest growth at the global level comes from their existing client base, which underlines the importance of promoting retention and loyalty as key pillars to unlock new sources of income.
With this new alliance, AT&T Mexico seeks to expand its impact on entertainment, offering its clients exclusive benefits such as preferential seats, brand activations and premium experiences in the enclosure.
The GNP Seguros stadium, recognized as the best in the world by the magazine Pollstaris a global reference that houses the most prominent artists on the national and international scene. With a capacity for 65,000 attendees, the enclosure combines avant -garde technology, top -level comforts and exclusive spaces for general and corporate public, consolidating itself as an icon of the show.
The AT&T strategy could position the company to expand its base of telephone plans and strengthen the loyalty of its current client portfolio. Company figures reveal that, at the close of the fourth quarter of 2024, the operator registered a total of 23.5 million active lines, of which 5.8 million correspond to postpaago services, consolidating its presence in the competitive telecommunications market.
A renewed stadium
The Forum Sol marked a before and after in the music scene of Mexico City. For three decades, this iconic enclosure witnessed historical presentations of artists and bands as a world, such as Coldplay, The Rolling Stones and, more recently, the acclaimed Taylor Swift tour. In addition, it is the scenario that houses the Vive Latino, the first mass and continuous festival in Mexico, consolidating itself as a cultural and musical reference in the country.
The remodeling of the GNP Seguros stadium introduces a series of improvements designed to raise the experience of the attendees. Among the innovations are the installation of more comfortable seats and seats, which guarantee greater comfort during the events. In addition, new spaces dedicated to the sale of food and beverages have been incorporated, expanding the options for spectators.
The expansion of the habitable structure has allowed the creation of additional hospitality areas, offering a more exclusive and premium experience. The stadium also has more than 280 last generation screens, which ensure optimal viewing of the shows from any point in the enclosure.
As for lighting, an improved system has been implemented, both internally and perimeter, which not only optimizes visibility during events, but also reinforces security.
