Atomic Heart expands today, February 6, 2024, with the new DLC titled Trapped in Limbowhich presents itself with this hallucinating launch trailer which highlights the absolutely crazy features of this new portion of the game.
As we also saw in the trailer released last December, the additional package introduces a new setting for the game by Mundfish and Focus Entertainment, characterized by a surreal and somewhat crazy atmosphere.
There history starts immediately after the conclusion of the original campaign, telling a different ending than the one seen in the first DLC released previously, namely “Annihilation Instinct”.
Something very strange
“Trapped in Limbo lies the key to discovering the fate of Major P-3”, we read in the description of Trapped in Limbo, “and it's up to the players to be able to recover it, surviving in this enigmatic world with reversed logic”.
In this expansion we find ourselves facing a shocking journey inside the mind of the protagonist P-3, composed of new and absurd levels in the strange world of Limbo, which presents crazy challenges and characterized by an absurd and surreal tone.
As we see in the trailer we find ourselves dealing with sweet assassins, endless runner style sections, fights against colorful monsters and incredible weapons, in situations in which logic, but also the general tone of the main game, seem to be put aside in a struggle to free the protagonist's mind from his strange obsessions.
