Blazing Griffin developers and publisher Microids have announced Arsene Lupine – Once a Thiefan adventure for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC (Steam, Epic Games Store and GOG), which will be available in stores towards the end of 2024.
As the title suggests, the game will put us in the shoes of the famous Arsène Lupine, recounting his transformation from an extravagant burglar to that of the legendary hero figure. The story will unfold through the tales of the gentleman thief of his past exploits to the author himself, the French writer Maurice Leblanc, giving players the opportunity to experience multiple heists and equally spectacular escapes. He will not miss the nemesis represented by Detective Ganimard, and unique perspectives on stories like “The Arrest of Arsene Lupin” and “Herlock Sholmes Comes Too Late”.
The exploits of the gentleman thief
Arsene Lupine – Once a Thief is proposed as a puzzle adventure, where players will explore various environments, in which they will have to solve puzzles and exploit Lupine’s many disguises to sneak in and get away. While from the images shown so far, the game seems to adopt a graphic style reminiscent of a picture book.
As mentioned at the beginning, the game is developed by Blazing Griffin, who for those who don’t know are the authors of Agatha Christie – Hercule Poirot: The First Cases, of which you can read our review.
