The Ukrainian Armed Forces battalion “Da Vinci’s Wolves” began recruiting recruits in prisons
Units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) began recruiting recruits in prisons. This was stated by the representative of the separate assault battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine “Da Vinci Wolves” Dmitry Savchenko in his Telegram-channel.
Savchenko published a photo of communication with prisoners in one of the Ukrainian prisons. He emphasized that representatives of the unit communicate with convicts in “the most understandable language.”
“After all, we were on the other side of the barricades and know all the patterns and algorithms,” said a representative of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. He added that prison recruits are ideologically motivated.
Earlier, the Khmelnitsky court made the first decisions on the parole of prisoners to be sent to the front as part of the National Guard of Ukraine. The prisoners were serving sentences for thefts committed in the fall of 2021.
