ARD online format “Ask yourself!” with Scholz: Citizens are worried about inflation
First report from July 1st – Berlin – Since the 1980s, ARD has invited various top politicians to its capital city studio during the summer holidays to talk about the current political situation. The summer interview 2022 will be conducted by the studio manager and editor-in-chief of television, Tina Hassel, who will be speaking to Chancellor Olaf Scholz (SPD) this Sunday ARD-Capital Studio visits.
Interested citizens can ask questions to Scholz in the online format “Ask yourself!” from around 11:35 a.m. Questions from the audience reach the editors on the channels of “Tagesschau” and “Report from Berlin” on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter (#askself) and YouTube as well as by e-mail to [email protected].
The questions asked on Facebook show that citizens are concerned about inflation and the higher contributions to statutory health insurance. It is also about how the nursing professions should continue and when temporary work will be abolished. However, citizens are also interested in how it can be prevented that energy companies withhold the EEG levy, which is to be abolished, and that we can expect many homeless people in winter.
