A scooter inspired by Aprilia’s MotoGP bikes. This is the Aprilia SR GT Replica, an “urban adventure” that has been customized with a more special and sporty setup, which returns in the 2024 version inspired by the Aprilia RS-GP bikes that are protagonists of the current MotoGP World Championship with Aleix Espargaró and Maverick Viñales.
The new livery
The sporty lines of the Aprilia SR GT thus take on an even more aggressive look, to transform city commuting and even longer distance journeys, perfectly within the reach of the SR GT, into a unique emotion. To stand out at all times thanks to the racing soul that every Aprilia vehicle brings with it. The matt black colour of the Aprilia SR GT Replica is enriched by the same graphics, in red and purple, that distinguish the refined fairings of the Aprilia RS-GP of the official Aprilia Racing team, one of the most refined and technologically advanced prototypes in the entire MotoGP line-up, and by the characteristic Aprilia logo that runs diagonally along the side and central tunnel, ending on the front part of the footrest. The latter, like the passenger grab handle, is also finished in matt black. Exactly like on the MotoGP bikes that are born in the Noale racing department, the wheel rims are painted black and the contrasting red detail on the channel stands out on the front one. In line with the racing soul, the setup also includes road tires with a sporty tread design, in place of the slightly knobby “all terrain” tires that characterize the other versions, Aprilia SR GT and SR GT Sport. The logos of the Aprilia Racing team sponsors make the Aprilia SR GT Replica 2024 even closer to the RS-GP machines that compete on circuits all over the world, while the race numbers of the two official riders Aleix Espargaró and Maverick Viñales are also provided. A further aesthetic touch that strongly associates the SR GT Replica with the MotoGP world.
The new Aprilia SR GT
On the new Aprilia SR GT, the active riding position and wide naked motorcycle-style handlebars offer the best control, while the long-travel suspension and increased ground clearance allow you to easily overcome any obstacle when riding in the city; finally, the generously sized tyres allow you to venture on any type of surface, from city asphalt to cobblestones to dirt roads.
Two engines
The Aprilia SR GT is available with two Euro 5 electronic injection, four-valve distribution and liquid cooling units from the i-get family. Alongside the single-cylinder i-get 125cccredited with a maximum power equal to 11 kW at 8,750 rpm and a torque that reaches 12 Nm at 6,500 rpm, the Aprilia SR GT 200 sees the debut of the new single-cylinder 174ccwhich boasts a power of 13 kW at 8,500 rpm and a torque of 16.5 Nm at 7,000 rpm. Absolute reference values, which guarantee elasticity, brilliance in recovery and smoothness of ride in all conditions, with truly reduced consumption.
