Apple it is not new in the technological field and every year it manages to reach very high levels, thanks to various development and study teams that try to make life better for users. Right in these hours, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo from the company, has expressly declared the future that will await everyone; it seems that the US multinational is focused on the sector of augmented reality and mixed reality. They are not the first to have focused more on these two concepts, but it seems that they are among the first to see a turning point.
In fact, together with the various statements made by the analyst, it seems that the company is ready to a new launch scheduled for 2025 and it would be a viewer called Pancake. The name has already intrigued several fans of the brand and Kuo has unbuttoned more about the various information; apparently it will be compatible with the two visual experiences mentioned in the previous paragraph and the launch would be expected precisely in the first quarter of the year indicated.
Apple aims to sell at least 10 million new headsets
The company is aiming to expand its ecosystem of AR / MR applications and services, so as to be able to reach the sales target set for the new headset: 10 million units sold. And it looks like he has decided to lean right on Largan to supply manufacturers with the various necessary components. This decision was dictated more by the fact that material costs increased sharply compared to those of the first generation and this obviously entails different needs.
Unfortunately, we know nothing else, except that the first headsets were supplied by Genius and Young Optics. At the moment, both the price range and the actual day of release along with other technical information are unclear. We will of course keep you informed as soon as we have more news in the coming months.
