The Anti -Corruption Prosecutor’s Office requests 15 and a half years in prison for the former president of the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF), Ángel María Villar, in a separate piece of the Soule case in which he accuses him of different crimes of corruption for organizing friendly parties for the benefit of his son and to the detriment of the Federation Between 2007 and 2017time during which he was in charge of the sports institution.
In the accusation letter presented to the National Court to which ABC has had access, he accuses him of crimes of unfair administration, corruption in business and misappropriation, for which he requests the prison sentence, disqualification for the business and industry and a fine of 900,000 euros.
In his conclusions, the prosecutor considers that Villar must be tried for the following facts: “Between at least the years 2007 and 2017 the defendants Ángel María Villar and Juan Antonio Padrón, taking advantage of the positions they occupied as president and economic vice president of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (hereinafter, RFEF), respectively, missing the duties of loyalty in the management of the resources of the sports association they representedThey benefited natural and legal persons of their environment. ”
He affirms that they did it “either with the achievement of contracts in their favor in harmful economic conditions for the RFEF, either by means of payment charged to funds from the RFEF of remuneration that or did not correspond to any provision of services or not in the conditions that were paid.”

Anticorruption points out that the Federation “lacked protocols or measures aimed at preventing and discovering the crimes that could be committed with their means or under the coverage of the legal entity.”
