You already know the Steam Deck, also the Lenovo Legion, ROG Ally and also that Xbox wants to have its laptop. How would you like another competitor? Well, the GPU manufacturer Zotac has its on-the-go console that will be named Zotac Zone. Maybe a couple more options and we would already have a saturated market.
Right now there is a trend of having portable consoles running Windows – or Linux in the case of Steam Deck – and the next one is the Zotac Zone. This new device comes with several very interesting features. It has an OLED screen, adjustable triggers and also the sticks.
If this were not enough, this Zotac device also has track pads that are very similar to the one on the Valve laptop. It even has its stand so you can place it wherever you want and it looks nice.
What is striking is that it comes with a Windows Hello camera instead of a fingerprint reader and 4 USB ports.

Zotac Zone: confirmed specifications
We already told you that the Zotac Zone screen is OLED, like that of the latest model of the Nintendo Switch. It also has several USB ports, camera and more. However, what does it have inside?
- AMD Ryzen 7 8840U – It’s not that surprising, it’s the same as other portable devices
- The GPU is Radeon 780M
- The memory is LPDDR5X-7500 which is quite efficient
- The battery is 48.5 watt hours, which is less than the latest version of the Steam Deck
- The screen is 7 inches
Now, the question that many have with this device is how much it will cost. Well, without owing it or fearing it, the price may be around $800. We’ll see how this device does in a market that has already become very competitive. Don’t miss any of our news at Google news and also join Discord to talk about this and other topics.
