New year, new increase in Movistar prices, and in recent years every time January approaches, the teleoperator’s users fear the new announcement of an increase in the rates of the company’s services. And unfortunately for them, this increase has occurred again by 2025.
Although at least they have gone ahead, and that is Movistar has been the first teleoperator to announce an increase in its rates for 2025, but very predictably she will not be the only one to do so. As always, it has already been informing its customers of the new prices, justifying it in the iIncreasing costs, as well as new improvements to your service.
As indicated by Banda Ancha, Movistar has already begun to send its clients a statement along with the last invoice in which it details the increase in fees that will arrive with the new year starting January 13. “At Movistar, we want you to always enjoy the best quality,” the letter begins by explaining. “For this reason, we continue to invest so that you have the fastest Fiber and 5G+ network in Spain, a reliable service and the best entertainment with the most exclusive content.”
Movistar will apply an increase in the price of the fiber-only rates and miMovistar plans, including the different television packages. Although the website does not yet reflect the new prices, due to the notices we already know what the new fees to pay will be, which will be the following depending on the package you have contracted:
New Movistar 2025 rates
Internet: Fiber 300 Mbps: increases 2.10 euros, going from 31.90 to 34 euros.
Combined
- miMovistar Base: rises 0.10 euros, going from 52.90 to 53 euros.
- miMovistar Max: rises 3.10 euros, going from 59.90 to 63 euros.
Additional lines: Additional Unlimited Base line: increases 0.10 euros, going from 7.90 to 8 euros.
Television:
- Movistar Plus+: rises one euro, going from 12 to 13 euros.
- Netflix Standard Package: increases by 1.99 euros, going from 12 to 13.99 euros.
- Netflix Premium Package: increases 2.99 euros, going from 17 to 19.99 euros.
- Total Fiction Package: increases 3.01 euros, going from 14 to 17.01 euros.
- Total Football Package: increases 4 euros, going from 45 to 49 euros.
Apart from all this, those rates that are not included the call establishment, will go to a set price of 55 centswhen until now it was only 35 cents. Although in case you have any current promotion, Movistar will keep you the discount until the end of it.
