The hacker group Anonymous has published threats to companies continuing to operate in Russia. This was announced on Monday, March 21, on the organization’s Twitter page.
Attached to the post was also a photo with logos of brands threatened by hackers. Among them are Burger King, Subway, Patreon, Raiffeisen Bank and others.
It is noted that all these companies continue their work on the territory of the Russian Federation. As Anonymous said, “We’re giving you 48 hours to think it over and get out of the country, otherwise you’ll be our next target.”
On March 8, hackers hacked the websites of a number of major Russian departments. Among the resources that have undergone a cyberattack are the websites of the Federal Penitentiary Service, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Culture, the Federal Service for Social Security, the Federal Antimonopoly Service, the Ministry of Energy, and Rosstat. When opening web pages, a collage of images appeared on the theme of the special operation of the Russian Federation to protect Donbass.
On March 3, the website of the Russian Foreign Ministry was subjected, as indicated by the department, to unprecedented cyber attacks.
On March 1, hackers from the Russian group Killnet claimed to have disabled the Anonymous group’s website and urged Russians not to believe Internet fakes and remain calm.
On February 28, the websites of Izvestia, TASS, Kommersant, Forbes, Fontanka, Mel, E1, Buro 24/7, RBC, Znak.Com and other Russian media were hacked. The group of computer hackers Anonymous has declared cyber war on Russia and claimed responsibility for a hacker attack, for example, on the RT website.
