Guerrero.- After having been seized from members of a criminal organization, three bengal tigers were found without vital signs in a building located in the municipality of Quechultenango, in the state of Guerrero.
Neighbors of the town, assured that, after being seized, the three animals in danger of extinction they were abandoned by the authoritieswhich until the day of their death remained in the same place where they had been found the first time.
Through social networks, residents of the town of Guerrero shared photographs of the imposing cats that were lying inside a small cage with empty food and water containers.

“They never came to bring them, they closed everything, they put embargo stamps on it and they never came to collect anything, nobody fed the animals and in the end they starved to death,” said one of the residents in an interview with Milenio.
The three Bengal tigers would have been confiscated by the personnel of the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) of Guerrero from the past February 16th of the current year, after the authorities carried out an anti-drug operation in the building.
At the site where the three animals were located, local security elements apprehended a man who is allegedly a member of the “Los Ardillos” criminal group.
In addition to the tigers, the agents assured 28 kilograms of marijuana11 vehicles, a weapon for the exclusive use of the Army and a motorcycle that had been reported stolen.
In a statement issued by the state Public Ministry the February 17th It was reported that the cats had been left at the disposal of the “competent authority”, although it was not specified which one, it could be the Ministry of the Environment and Natural Resources (Semarnat) or the Federal Attorney for Environmental Protection (teacher).
“I would like to give more information, but the reality is that Semaren does not know the whereabouts of these three felines, the FGE no longer informed us anything,” said the head of the Secretary of the Environment and Natural Resources of the Government of the State of Guerrero (Semaren).

The neighbors pointed out that, after having reported the death of the specimens, the bodies of the three tigers were removed from the place and mounted on top of a truck belonging to the Guerrero Attorney General’s Office.
