About your skin, hair and makeup carewe have spoken with Ana Peleteiro, following her presentation as ambassador of Aguaphor, an iconic Eucerin product that will turn 100 years old in 2024.
– Training outdoors has risks for the skin, how do you protect it?
Of course, training outdoors has its risks and for me, an essential so that this does not affect my skin is to use a good sunscreen and, then, a hydrating treatment that repairs and regenerates the areas most exposed during training such as Aquaphor by Eucerin, which I have trusted for years.
-cWhat is your daily beauty routine?
On the face, sunscreen, mist and moisturizer. On my body I always use moisturizers that contain urea or ceramides, because I have very dry skin and after the shower I apply natural almond oil. I especially like Eucerin’s Urea Repair lotion because it deeply hydrates my skin without leaving it sticky. Also, on drier areas, like my lips or elbows, I use Aquaphor.
-Do care vary when you are in a competition like the Olympic Games?
Both my facial and body routine accompanies me wherever I go, I prefer to pay extra in my suitcase than leave without my products.
– In your daily life, do you wear makeup or do you prefer to go for naturalness?
In my daily life I usually wear makeup in a very natural way, the mascara It is essential at any time of the day. If I have to run an errand outside the home, I also like to use a cream product such as blush or bronzer and highlighter, to give my skin a healthier appearance. But the truth is that I try to avoid excessive use of this type of product unless I have to record a campaign or attend an event.
– When you go to an event, do you let a stylist advise you or are you very clear about what you like to wear and what you would never wear?
Today I know my body very well and my team works with me perfectly, and although I allow myself to be advised, it is true that we usually have very clear ideas because we know what suits me and what doesn’t.
– Although your hair is curly, you look straight, how do you take care of it?
I love curly hair and I like my hair, but being an athlete I have to put my hair up every day and that caused a lot of breakage. That’s why I become straightening treatments and hydration to keep you healthier. In addition, I also use products without silicones or parabens to take care of it. Currently, I have been doing the ‘oiling’ technique for several months to promote my hair growth.
