Two years and six months in prison. This has been the sentence, with the execution suspended, to the Portuguese influencer Joana Mascarenhas for submerging his three-year-old daughter in cold water. The 36-year-old woman used this method on several occasions to stop the tantrums of the little girl, according to the newspaper ‘Jornal de Notícias’.
This is a crime of domestic violence. The sentence, imposed by a Lisbon court, includes the obligation to follow a reintegration plan and the payment of compensation of 1,000 euros.
The influencer boasted on social media about the method she used with her daughter to stop her from crying.
