Karol G brought the Rock in Rio audience to the highest climax on the fifth day of concerts at the festival, where he debuted with an energizing and captivating performance.
On the day dedicated to women, Colombian singer Karol G performed several songs from ‘Mañana será bonito’ on the main stage of the festival, the album that launched her to stardom, for which she won two Latin Grammys and whose successful tour catapulted her as a breakout artist on the world’s stages.

Hits such as ‘Amargura’, ‘Contigo’, ‘Tusa’ and ‘Bichota’ were part of the singer’s repertoire, in a show full of reggaeton but which also included urban pop, Afro rhythms, the famous carioca funk, pop and electronic music.
Several times the audience of some 100,000 people vibrated and jumped to the rhythm of the 33-year-old artist, who was tireless on stage. and without her characteristic pink hair.
The Colombian Karok G also showed off her samba dancing skills at the tribute she paid to singer-songwriter Sergio Méndesin a show that had several moments of Brazilian spirit, such as the funk version of ‘Ta ok’ and the exaltation of the flag of the South American country.
But the most applauded was when she was accompanied on stage by the Brazilian drag queen Pabllo Vittar, the French Yselt and the Iranian singer Sevdaliza, co-authors of ‘Alabí’, a song that drove a mostly young and LGBT audience crazy.
Rock in Rio, The venue, which opened on September 13, is expected to attract some 700,000 spectators over seven nights of concerts that end next Sunday.
Since its historic debut in January 1985, more than 12.6 million people have attended one of the 24 editions of Rock in Rio, ten of which have been held in the city where it was born and the rest in Lisbon, Madrid and Las Vegas.
