Up to six components of the German selection of track cycling were injured after being hit by a tourism (Citroën C3), conducted by a man 89 years in the municipality of Palma. Among the injured are Benjamin Boos and Tobias Buck-Gramko, medalists in the 2024 World Cup; Bruno Kessler; Max-David Briese; Moritz Agonstein, with five victories on the track last season and Louis Gentzik. Another member of the group was unharmed.
The events occurred around 10:30 am on Monday at the height of km 9,300 of the MA-19A in Llucmajor sense, as reported by the Civil Guard Command in the Balearic Islands.
The circumstances of the accident are investigated
The old man was circulating in the same sense of the march as the cyclists when, in circumstances that are investigated, he has overwhelmed cyclists. To the place, Samu 061 were transferred, who have attended the injured, all with polycontusions.
Four of them were evacuated to the Rotger Clinic and the remaining two have been transferred to the Palmaplanas Clinic. None, as the IBSALUT has reported, is in serious condition.
