The vice-president of PL Mulher, federal deputy Amália Barros (PL-MT), remains hospitalized in the ICU (Intensive Care Unit) of the Vila Nova Star hospital, in São Paulo (SP), with no prospect of discharge. She needed to undergo a new surgery on Saturday (May 4, 2024) after undergoing a procedure to remove a nodule in the pancreas on Wednesday (May 1).

In video published on Instagram, the federal deputy Abilio Brunini (PL-MT) said that Amália Barros left the state “very serious” for the “serious” and must “stay a few more days” hospitalized.
The deputy’s husband, Thiago Boava, stated that “a miracle happened”. According to him, it was supposed to be just a single, smooth surgery, despite being complicated.
