Amadeus leaves Rai and goes to Nove: farewell to the CEO of Viale Mazzini Rossi

Amadeus leaves Rai: the presenter has informed the general director of Viale Mazzini, Giampaolo Rossi, of his desire not to renew the contract expiring on 31 August.

The meeting, defined by Amadeus' entourage as “cordial, between two gentlemen”, took place on the morning of Monday 15 April. After days of rumors and indiscretions, therefore, the presenter made the decision to leave state television official.

Awaiting him, barring sensational twists, is Canale Nove where Amadeus will hold the role of entertainment manager as well as presenting one or more programmes.

Rossi, despite his efforts to retain the host of the last five Sanremo Festivals, would have taken note of the presenter's decision, who, in the meantime, will be a guest on the last episode of Long live Rai 2the show hosted by his friend Fiorello.

It was the Sicilian showman himself who made the hosting official: “For that episode we are also expecting Jovanotti and they will most likely let us use the Olympic stadium. It's going to be a crazy episode. And there are also tennis players in the area, who knows.”
