There are colors that are considered iconic in the world of Formula 1. Here, this is a word that perhaps goes a little further for BWT’s pink, even if the Austrian company specializing in water treatments has now linked its brand to the Circus since 2017.
Among other things, in the space of these six years it has passed on the bodies of four different teams, even if three of these were simply the evolution of the same that changed its name.
The debut in fact took place with Force India, on the VJM10s of Esteban Ocon and Sergio Perez. Then in 2019 the Silverstone team was acquired by Lawrence Stroll, becoming Racing Point, but the livery remained the same, with the BWT squad dominating.
In 2021 there was another handover, with the return to Formula 1 of the Aston Martin brand, always linked, however, to the structure owned by Stroll. In this case, a strong focus was placed on British green, typical of the Gaydon brand, on which the pink inserts of the BWT brand remained.
Which is basically what should happen even now, that instead the sponsorship has moved to Enstone, the headquarters of Alpine. It can be assumed that the main color of the car will always be French blue, alongside BWT pink with a color combination that should also be quite pleasant.
Scrolling through the gallery below, you can see all the single-seaters linked to the Austrian brand that have raced in Formula 1 to date.
