Allegri, goodbye to Juventus with a treasure worth 100 million euros. The bills
Massimiliano Allegri and Juventus are heading towards their second divorce. The only thing to be understood now is the methods and timing of the exemption after the night of the Italian Cup. The coach from Livorno leaves after three years (about 7 million net wages per season) and, beyond the controversies of these last few hours, it is also time to do some math.
Let’s start from the field. In the first season (’21-’22) Juve achieved the goal of qualifying for the Champions League and lost the Italian Super Cup and Italian Cup finals both against Inter (and always in extra time). The second sees the Bianconeri immediately eliminated in the Champions League group (where Benfica and PSG had passed) and then they dream of the Europa League where they reach the semi-final (against Sevilla). In Serie A the team achieved a very good third place also because it was obtained after complicated months due to off-field events which will lead to a 10 point penalty and exclusion from European cups.

We are at this year with the qualification for the Champions League achieved and the victory of the Italian Cup in the final against Lazio. And here we move directly to the accounts. The return to top European competition will guarantee to Juventus about twenty million starting without counting the subsequent proceeds of matches, prizes and so on (to give an example, Milan who came out of the group stage this year for example grossed around 45 million, Napoli in the round of 16 over 65). And next year it will be the first super Champions League that will guarantee at least 8 matches (against the minimum of the six up to this year).

World Club Chapter: 30-50 expected to arrive from the competition which will be played next June in the United States (although here we are at the forecasts, given that FIFA has not yet clarified the prizes for the new competition). Juve who also guaranteed the final 4 of the Italian Super Cup in Saudi Arabia (with Inter, Milan and Atalanta) and here are two million input (you reach 8 in case of victory). In the championship she will finish third or fourth (Monday’s direct match in Bologna against Thiago Motta, probable Juventus coach next year, was decisive): 12-14 million prizes from Lega Serie A. The Italian Cup just won: we are on 10 million in total. Therefore, Allegri’s Juventus season guarantees a treasure of around 75-100 million.
Money that will partly restore the club’s accounts and partly (about half presumably) they can be invested on the market to strengthen a team ready for new challenges (fans dream Koopmeiners, Calafiori, Zirkzee: obviously many strategies will also depend on possible sales, but the market front is a discussion that will open up later). ‘Next year we must aim to win everything,’ was Dusan Vlahovic’s rallying cry on Wednesday evening after sinking Atalanta with his very heavy goal which handed the 15th Italian Cup to the Old Lady.
