Allegri fired by Juventus for just cause
Juventus has fired Massimiliano Allegri for just cause. The now former Juventus coach received the letter of dismissal, after last May 17th he had been dismissed from his position for “certain behaviors during and after the Italian Cup final which the club deemed not compatible with the values of Juventus and with the behavior that those who represent it must have”
The episode in the Italian Cup final to which the Juventus club was referring at the time of the dismissal had occurred in the 94th minute of Atalanta-Juventus, won with a one-goal advantage: it was May 15th and the coach had been sent off after tearing himself jacket and tie off him and protested by shouting at the referees’ designator for a free kick awarded to his opponents. Allegri has now received notification of his dismissal while he is in London to follow the Champions League final between Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund. Juve therefore terminates the contract of the Livorno coach one year before it expires and now we will have to see if the coach decides to take other paths, with new assignments, without wanting to discuss the matter, or if he will try to appeal to the labor court or ask for damages image.
Juventus, Allegri will appeal against the dismissal
Massimiliano Allegri has already made it known that he will appeal against the dismissal for just cause received by Juventus, as Sky Sport reports, the Livorno coach will rely on a group of lawyers who will challenge the measure imposed on him by the Juventus club. In all likelihood, in addition to the appeal, there will also be a request for compensation for reputational damage
