There are now just a few hours left until the official debut of Alfa Romeo Milan which will be presented as a world premiere in the city from which it takes its name. To fuel the anticipation for Biscione's third SUV, which will represent the return of the Arese brand to the B segment, the Stellantis premium brand has released a new teaser, which will probably be the last before the unveil.
A new teaser for Alfa Romeo Milano
In the new image of the Alfa Romeo Milano, a portion of the rear appears, with part of the light clusters and a detail of the tail which reveals how a different solution was chosen for the rear of this car compared to the past, with an overhang, similar to a spoiler. An analogy with the Aston Martin DBX for example. The choice could be functional to the desire to differentiate this model from Stelvio and Tonale, while also giving it a clear sporting connotation. The Alfa Romeo lettering then appears on the bodywork, as also happened on the latest Biscione cars.
Size and style, what we know
The new Alfa Romeo Milano will be born on the CMP of the Stellantis group, the same as the Jeep Avenger and Fiat 600 and like them it will be built in Poland, in the Tychy plant. He will have one length just under 420 cm and will exploit this versatile architecture which will allow the implementation of the most modern technologies, continuing the digitalisation process started with Tonale. This model will be fundamental for the Arese brand, not only because it will be the brand's first 100% electric model but also because it will be a car with a lower price to try to attract a new and younger clientele.
Engines
Under the bonnet, next to the electric motor, there should also be a Q4 Hybrid, a system that the Stellantis group could also use on the future Jeep Avenger 4×4: a 1.2 three-cylinder turbo petrol Miller cycle engine with 136 HP and 230 Nm combined with two electric units, one with around 30 kW (around 41 HP) on the rear axle and a second 20 kW (28 HP) electric motor at the front, integrated into the dual clutch gearbox designed in collaboration with Punch Powertrain. The total power should thus be 120 kW. The price of a new Alfa Romeo Milano it should be less than 30,000 euros for the endothermic version.
