Protect and promote the history of Alfa Romeo with a series of services that will see the top management of the brand at the forefront, called upon to personally certify the cars. It was born in fact Classic Alfa Romeo, the Heritage program which includes Certificate of Origin for all models of the Arese brand starting from 2016, Certificate of Authenticity and Restoration Service, with the top management of the Stellantis brand that will participate in the committee that evaluates historic cars and releases the certifications with the support of the Heritage team and experts in Alfa Romeo history. The committee will in fact be chaired by the CEO of Alfa and the Head of the Heritage department, supported by the Alfa Romeo Museum.
By means of the vehicle’s chassis number, the Biscione provides for an accurate documentary check in the production registers of the Brand and the issue of a certificate attesting to the year of production and the original configuration of the car: model specifications, serial number of the original engine, exterior and interior details. The Certificate of Authenticity instead, Alfa Romeo, with the support of the Heritage department, certifies the authenticity of the vintage car is released after the historical car has been analyzed, after having checked its production data and technical specifications in the company archives. To obtain this certification, each car undergoes a rigorous inspection and evaluation process that is carried out by the specialized team, verifying the authenticity of the car and its components and the functioning of the main mechanical parts. The examination of the car is carried out at the Officine Classiche in Mirafiori or at the customer’s home, if he prefers it, or at the Stellantis & You centers in Rome and Palermo. The team that I know takes care of the historical collection of the brand will then be available to private customers, for a Restoration Service that will include simple maintenance up to complete restoration: from diagnosis to restoration interventions, passing through the repair of individual mechanical and aesthetic components, up to to final testing.
