Today, Ugo Humbert aspires to become the first French tennis player to win the Paris Masters 1000 since Jo-Wilfriend Tsonga in 2008.
Zverev and Humbert have met twice previously, in the round of 16 in Halle, with the Frenchman winning, and in the round of 32 in this same Paris Masters in 2023.
