Albania El Dorado also for Adolfo Urso: here are the consultancy and lobbying activities passed on to his son
An episode on relations between Italy and Albania who spares no blows to anyone: Report lands in Tirana and launches his incendiary attacks against a large part of the government. But there is a name that makes particular noise: that of Adolfo Urso, minister of Made in Italy, who is brought up quite heavily. The senator was for a long time a consultant for the internationalization of Agon Channel, the TV founded by Francesco Becchetti who at a certain point had managed to attract strong names in Italian television such as Simona Ventura or Alessio Vinci.
Becchetti was then sentenced to 17 years for money laundering, again in Albania, and for this reason Urso would have distanced himself from him. But this is not so much the theme that Report was able to indulge in. Until his appointment as minister, the FdI senator had a company, Italy World Services, which aims to offer institutional consultancy to companies and lobbying activities. Once he had taken the oath, Urso transferred the shares to his son Pietro, guaranteeing – so he says – that there would be no conflict of interest. In reality, the episode of Report gives him some reason to raise his eyebrows.
In the business register it now appears that the ownership of Italy World Services should be traced back to Assigest Broker Albania, in turn attributable to Assigest Broker Spa, which deals with insurance brokerage. Coincidentally, a theme that falls right under the powers of the Mimit. More: in an increasingly complicated plot, Report attributes to this company (and therefore to Pietro Urso) relations with Artan Gaci, a very powerful former socialist parliamentarian, close to Prime Minister Edi Rama. In short: the suspicion instilled by the broadcast hosted by Sigfrido Ranucci is that Urso has indeed handed over the management of the company to his son. But that the family remains very strong in Albania. Was Andreotti right?
