‘Akelarre’ ultra in honor of Trump: Sylvester Stallone calls him “second George Washington” and Milei talks about a “miracle”

This Thursday night, the president-elect was the protagonist of the gala dinner of the conservative America First Policy Institute, which was held in his mansion and social club, and in which he was presented by the actor Sylvester Stallone, who referred to to the Republican as “the second George Washington.”

Stallone attended a gala on Thursday to celebrate Trump’s election victory that was attended by many of the members of his controversial cabinet, including RFK Jr and Matt Gaetz.

“When I did Rocky, if you remember, the first image was a photo of Jesus and a sign that said: ‘Resurrection, AC Club,’” Stallone told the audience before Trump took the stage: “I found a church converted into a ring of boxing. From there, the image cuts from Jesus to Rocky getting hit. He was the chosen person, and that’s how I started the journey: something was going to happen, that man was going to undergo a metamorphosis and change lives. Just like President Trump. We are facing a truly mythical character. I love mythology. This individual does not exist on this planet. No one in the world could have achieved what he has achieved, I am amazed.”

“And I’ll just say this, and I mean it,” Stallone continued: “When George Washington defended his country, he had no idea he was going to change the world. Without it, you can imagine what the world would be like. And you know what? We have the second George Washington. Congratulations”.

“True miracle”

The president of Argentina, Javier Milei, and the president-elect of the United States, Donald Trump, congratulated each other this Thursday during separate speeches at the gala of a conservative forum taking place in Mar-a-Lago, the Republican’s private club, in Palm Beach (Florida).

“Javier, I want to congratulate you for the work you have done, to make Argentina great again. It is incredible how you are fixing it,” said former President Trump (2017-2021).

“Your speech was beautiful, but the work you have done is incredible. Make Argentina great again. “You are a MAGA (Make America Great Again) person,” Trump told him during the speech.

“I think your numbers are working. “You have done a fantastic job in a very short period of time,” Trump said.

Milei had previously highlighted the Republican for “his resounding victory and the greatest political comeback in history, confronting the entire establishment and even putting his own life at risk,” he noted in reference to the two attacks he suffered during the Campaign.

“Today the world is much better because winds of freedom are blowing that are much stronger. A true miracle and reliable proof that the forces of heaven are on our side,” Milei added.

The libertarian president also met during the gala with billionaire Elon Musk, whom he also congratulated on his appointment to the new Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) of the United States.

Milei spoke with Trump during the gala of the conservative America First Policy Institute, where hundreds of guests gathered, although the two leaders did not hold a bilateral meeting.

From today until next Saturday, Mar-a-Lago is the headquarters of the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), which brings together investors of this trend.

Milei is the first foreign leader to meet with Trump after his victory in the last presidential elections on November 5, and before he assumes the presidency on January 20.

The Argentine president stated before leaving for Florida that his intention is to seek a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with the United States and ensure that Argentina has better conditions in its relationship with the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

Likewise, he indicated that Trump confessed to him in a telephone conversation that he is his “favorite president” in America, so between the two of them they are going to make both the United States and Argentina “bigger.”

Before the event, Milei held private meetings with businessmen from the United States in Miami.

Milei met Trump in an informal meeting on the sidelines of last February’s edition of the CPAC, when they greeted each other cordially and both expressed good wishes for their respective political plans, while the Argentine acknowledged his admiration for the Republican.

Milei’s visit to the US will be short, because he will receive the president of France, Emmanuel Macron, in Buenos Aires over the weekend, then he will travel to Brazil to participate in the G20 summit and then he will receive, also in the Argentine capital, the first Italian Minister, Georgia Meloni.
