The Ajman Police General Command implemented an initiative to provide a proactive damage and loss certificate service to community members whose vehicles were damaged as a result of being surrounded by water in places where they accumulate in various regions of the emirate, as part of its continuing efforts to enhance the quality of life and make community members happy.
The head of the city's comprehensive police station, Colonel Ghaith Khalifa Al Kaabi, said that the initiative came within the framework of enhancing the quality of life and making it easier for community members to obtain a To Whom It May Concern certificate for their damaged vehicles or their lost vehicle plates from the water collected as a result of the weather conditions that the country experienced.
The head of the city's comprehensive police station added that Ajman police patrols surveyed various areas of the emirate, especially areas where water had accumulated extensively, which led to the breakdown of some vehicles and damage to others. Some of them also lost their vehicle number plates, and they counted these vehicles and sent a destruction certificate.
46% are lost to their owners proactively without a request so that they can complete the damage treatment procedures, whether in agencies or insurance companies, which makes it easier for them and relieves them of the hassle of communicating or coming to police stations to request the service and obtain a certificate, as well as to reduce the completion time and shorten its stages, while 54% of the service was provided via the Ajman Police smart application
Colonel Ghaith Al Kaabi stressed that Ajman Police always seeks to design proactive services that exceed the expectations of community members, and anticipates their needs and requests before requesting them, thus enhancing their quality of life in the services provided and fulfilling its societal responsibility.
