Ministry of Defense: an air defense system shot down a Ukrainian drone in the Kursk region
The air defense system (air defense) shot down a Ukrainian drone in the Kursk region. The Russian Ministry of Defense reported this in its Telegram-channel.
“Around 20:30 Moscow time, a Ukrainian aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicle was destroyed by air defense systems on duty over the territory of the Kursk region,” the defense department reported.
Earlier, an air defense system shot down a reconnaissance drone in the sky over the Bryansk region. According to Governor Alexander Bogomaz, an aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicle was destroyed over the Sevsky district by air defense forces of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
Before that, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported an attempt by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to attack the Belgorod region using a drone. The drone was intercepted by air defense forces.
