AF Corse has signed Vincent Abril and David Vidales for the 2024 season.
While waiting to find out what their plans will be for this new adventure, the two young and fast drivers have signed the agreement that will link them to the Amato Ferrari team.
For Abril it is a return to the team with which he achieved an extraordinary Hyperpole at the 24h of Le Mans in 2022, in which he was at the wheel of the 488 GTE #61 entered in the LMGTE AM Class, and with which he also raced in GT Open and Asian Le Mans Series, before moving to Iron Lynx's Lamborghini for the 2023 Le Mans Cup.
“I am extremely honored and excited to become an official driver of AF Corse – commented the 28-year-old Monegasque – It is a team that I always associate with great successes. In the past I have participated in various programs with the team and the Pole of Le Mans 2022 in the LMGTE AM class”.
“I never had the opportunity to race with them full-time, but my goal was always to be able to do so for this incredible team, which I felt like a home from day one.”
“I would like to thank Amato Ferrari and everyone who made this possible and look forward to all the exciting moments ahead as we continue to grow together.”

Vidales, on the other hand, raced mainly on single-seaters, first shining in F.Renault and subsequently moving on to F.3 and Super Formula Lights, so the covered wheels chapter will be all to be discovered for the Spaniard.
“It is a great honor for me to wear the colors of a prestigious and successful team like AF Corse – comments the 21 year old – I am very grateful for this opportunity and I can't wait to start the new season. I would like to thank Salvatore Gandolfo and Monaco Increase Management for their hard work.”
AF Corse will also be involved in GT racing with the Ferrari 296 GT3, but also has the Oreca LMP2 at home, so we just have to wait for further announcements on the matter.
