The comprehensive consultancy for companies Adlanter has begun an expansion process that will lead it to sign a total of around 30 acquisitions in five years and reach revenues of 100 million euros, its non-executive president stated in an interview with EFE, Alejandro Martínez.
The ancient Gesdocument, born within Cuatrecasas More than three decades ago, it has entered a growth cycle in Spain and Portugal after being acquired in 2022 by Artá Capital, which raised a fund of nearly 400 million to invest in that and other projects.
In a fragmented market, with more than 25,000 consultancies and one total turnover close to 8,000 millionAdlanter has identified around 300 signatures as potential candidates to be integrated into its structure within a period of three to five years.
So far it has acquired Arketa, García Riera, International Venture Consultants (IVC) and ARC Advocats & Consultors, and has offices in Barcelona and Madrid – cities that represent the 80% of the business-, Bilbao, Valencia and Zaragoza.
The company, which aspires to sign around 25 more operationsis already in advanced conversations with an office in Andalusia, with a presence in Malaga, Seville and Córdoba, says Martínez.
Most acquisitions involve an average outlay of between 1 and 10 milliondetails the president of the firm, who assures at the same time that there is no established cost limit and that some operations above those figures are being studied.
Beyond the funds injected by Artá, the company plans gradually increase your leverageas its EBITDA increases, to optimize the expansion process.
The criterion for closing operations is not only territorial: offices in its sights “they must have quality of service, a staff with a certain predisposition to technological changes, and a certain size and profitability”points out Martínez.
Customer acquisition and talent retention
Growth is not only expected through the incorporation of new offices in Spain and Portugalbut the company aspires to become a “reference” in the sector with double-digit organic growth.

Investment in technology
The incorporation of technology to increase efficiency in processes is another of the keys to its strategic plan, which anticipates a “paradigm change” in the sector that will contribute to promoting a concentration scenario.
The differentiating factor that Adlanter wants to put on the table is the development of an experience “fully digital for the customer”, as do banks, which have replaced most over-the-counter operations with a mobile application, says the company’s general director, José Luis Rivas.
The first prototype of this digital channel is going to start testing in Decemberwith a view to definitively activating it in subsequent months.
The application will allow clients to access all their files and automate processes such as sending pending documents, highlights Rivas.
The manager highlights the role that artificial intelligence plays in gaining efficiency in tasks such as numerical analysis and for Assist in internal sales management processes.
However, there is a limitation when using it to automate relations with the various administrations due to the “atomization” of the public sector in Spain and the need to individualize the processes in each territory, highlights Rivas.
