On the occasion of the PC Gaming Show in June, a new trailer was shown with gameplay sequences of Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vectorthe new Cyberpunk RPG of Jump Over the Age, which you can find in the player below.
The game’s release date was also announced. It will be available in early months of 2025not only on PC, Xbox and Game Pass as previously indicated, but also on PS5 and Nintendo Switch.
What is Citizen Sleeper 2?
Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector, like the first game, draws inspiration from tabletop role-playing games and uses a dice-rolling system. The game puts us in the shoes of the forgetful android Sleeper, who will have to assemble a crew, find a ship and explore the Helion system.
During the various phases of the adventure we will have to make difficult decisions that will change the course of the adventure. For example, choosing one teammate over another for specific tasks could lead to potentially catastrophic consequences. The developers promise that the sequel will be “bigger, more varied and more challenging than the originalbut with the same deep world-building and free-form gameplay.”
