One of the most interesting announcements of the Future Games Showcase in June was undoubtedly that of Nikoderiko: The Magical Worlda colorful one platform adventure currently in development for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series and due out during 2024.
In the game we take on the role of Niko and Luna, who set off on an adventure to foil the plans of the evil Grimbald, who intends to subjugate a magical island by exploiting the power of a powerful artifact. To prevent this we will explore seven different worlds, facing challenges and adventures of all kinds.
The game supports two-player co-op
As we can see in the first official gameplay trailer, Nikoderiko: The Magical World presents itself with fairly classic platform adventure dynamics, but on paper solid and well made. In the various 2D and 3D levels present in the game we will have to overcome obstacles by jumping, throwing objects and taking advantage of the help offered by some stud animals, such as a warthog, a giant frog and a seahorse.
The game will also have a mode cooperative with local multiplayer for two players and according to the description offered by the developers it aims to offer an experience suitable for the whole family. As mentioned at the beginning, Nikoderiko: The Magical World will arrive on PC and consoles this year, so we will definitely hear about it over the next few months.
