The Investigative Court number 3 of Torrent, on guard duty, has opened proceedings to investigate the incidents that occurred during the visit of the kings, Felipe VI and Letiziathe president of the Government, Pedro Sanchezand the president of the Generalitat, Carlos Mazónto Paiporta, one of the municipalities most affected by DANA.
As reported by the Superior Court of Justice of the Valencian Community (TSJCV), this Monday the court received a report from the Civil Guard regarding the incidents that occurred this Sunday in the aforementioned town.
Civil Guard sources have reported that there are no arrests yet nor identified by said altercations. The royal entourage was received in Paiporta with shouts of “out, out” and the throwing of mud and mud, and some objects, such as sticks.
The leader of the Executive was the first to leave the delegation, after an attempted assault. Sánchez appeared later to downplay the matter and describe the attacks as acts “absolutely marginal”.
Mazón, for his part, continued behind the king Philip VIbut after a while, he also left. The monarchs tried to talk to the neighbors, convey closeness and calm – a little – the waters. They didn’t get it.
At 2:15 p.m., everyone had left Paiporta, where DANA left at least 62 fatalities. They left under escort and “almost with stones,” the neighbors say. One of the cars in the presidential motorcade ended up, in fact, with broken windows.
Ultra leaders and far-right agitators
In the towns devastated by the storm, not only the neighbors are mobilizing; Also volunteers from other towns and cities, some even from outside Valencia. This is the case of the leaders of Revolt, National Nucleus, Desokupa or Spain 2000four groups of ultra young people who embrace the reactionary speeches of Vox, present in the altercations this Sunday. Far-right pseudojournalists, such as Javier Negre and Alvise Pérezthey have also been in the area for days.
