Despite the many gloomy headlines of the last year, people have shown that they want electric cars. As soon as several of the less positive factors of electric mobility are eradicated, the boom in sales is palpable and effective. Many clients are already thinking about taking the leap, as the latest global survey carried out by the consultancy now demonstrates. Accenture. They have analyzed the preferences of 6,000 drivers from the United States, Italy, France, Germany, Japan and China and have discovered that the balance is tipping towards electric much more than some might imagine. At a global level, the survey has revealed that 57% of drivers expect to have an electric car in the garage in the next 10 years. Only 10% of those surveyed have stated that they will never buy an electric car. Meanwhile, 23% of the population surveyed who do not currently own an electric car imagine buying one in the next five years. China stands out as the region in the world with the highest purchasing intention. 65% of the drivers surveyed affirm that the future belongs to the electric car.
