This is the fifteenth edition of the Best in Travel, that reach their readers in printed guide format and also on the web.
Among the cities chosen by Lonely Planet, this year it tops the list Toulousenicknamed by some as ‘Little Paris’, which has been selected as the best city thanks to its growing arts scene and relaxed riverside lifestyle. It is also the city of aviation heroes where they dream of Mars and live among airplanes and rockets.
Below are Puducherry (in southern India), Bansko (Bulgaria), Chiang Mai (Thailand), Genoa (Italy), Pittsburgh (USA), Osaka (Japan), Curitiba (Brazil), Palma (Spain) ) and Edmonton (Canada).
Of Palm Its “emphasis on promoting off-season visits, promoting a more sustainable and authentic tourism model, and its dynamic local culinary offering” stands out. The Best in Travel guide lists four essential tips in the Majorcan capital:
-The indispensable Pilar i Joan Miró Foundation, which includes two studios, Son Boter and Taller Sert.

In the region category, Lowcountry of South Carolina and coastal Georgiain the United States, have captured the attention of experts for their “sensuality”, their dynamic gastronomic scene and the recent reopening of the African American Museum. And below are: Terai (Nepal), Chiriquí (Panama), Launceston and Tamar Valley (Australia), Valais (Switzerland), Giresun and Ordu (Turkey), Bavaria (Germany), East Anglia (England), Jordan Trail (Jordan) and Mount Hood and Columbia River Gorge (USA).
The guide finally mentions travel trends for 2025, such as bird watching, train travel, tree adventures, exploring local markets or discovering underrated parks, among others.
