The Saudi Arabian Grand Prix is getting closer and closer. The appointment scheduled for 5 December will say a lot about the progress of an increasingly exciting World Championship, with the great challenge between Max Verstappen’s Red Bull and Lewis Hamilton’s Mercedes. And it will do so with a particular track: a Jeddah it almost always pushes hard (252 km / h on average, it is the fastest street circuit ever). Reigning F1 eSports Series world champion Jarno Opmeer he traveled it in a simulated way.
The video gives a clearer aspect to aspects that have already emerged previously. It is a track that gives little breath to the power unit, with 27 corners (11 to the right and 16 to the left), a record among those on the calendar, of which – however – only the initial chicane is tackled in third gear. The rest of the track is made up of medium-high speed corners, where overtaking will be very difficult. For those there will be well three DRS zones. Jeddah is the second longest layout on the calendar after Spa, at 6.175 km.
