The VSUYU branch in Dagestan expelled a student who did not pass the exam due to participation in SVO
In Dagestan, a student was expelled from the North Caucasus branch of the All-Russian State University of Justice (VSUYU) who failed the exam due to participation in a special military operation (SVO). About it writes public page “Sapa Caucasus” on the social network “VKontakte”.
As it became known, a 22-year-old resident of Makhachkala has been serving in the Northern Military District for more than two years. He entered the RPA branch after school, but a year later he transferred to the Golitsyn Border Institute of the FSB of Russia in the Stavropol Territory, retaining the right to reinstate himself in VGUYU for five years. Two years later, the man graduated from college with honors with the rank of warrant officer. At the same time, a special operation began and the Russian was sent to serve on the border with Ukraine.
According to the authors of the post, having arrived on vacation, a resident of Dagestan was reinstated in VSUYU through correspondence education, after which he returned to service. According to the student’s mother, her son provided the university with all the necessary documents confirming his service on the Russian-Ukrainian border. A few weeks ago, a woman decided to find out what exams he had to take during his summer vacation, but it turned out that the man had been expelled. “They claim that his stay at SVO is not important for his studies. It’s a shame, he’s been there for three years,” she said.
In turn, the director of the North Caucasus branch of the university, Gusein Magomedov, explained to Sapa that the decision was made in accordance with federal legislation. “If the Ministry of Education finds loopholes, I am only happy to accommodate such students,” he said. — We have more than one such student expelled. There are many of them: 500, 600, 700… they are all in the North. There are a lot of them. Some come. But for the most part, no. How to issue them a diploma? I want to help them, but I don’t know how.”
