The Molina de Segura City Council has begun work to convert a 9,601-square-meter municipal site, located next to the Cañada de las Eras secondary school (San Miguel neighborhood), into a temporary park and ride that will also be used for other secondary uses, including those that contemplate the realization of markets, leisure activities and as a place of installation of the attractions of the patron saint festivities in September.
The Mayor of Molina de Segura, Eliseo García Cantó, together with the Councilor for Public Roads, María Montserrat Montanos, visited the site where the works are being carried out, the ultimate goal of which is to obtain 161 car parking spaces, 15 of them reserved for people with reduced mobility. There will also be another 30 places for motorcycles. Montanos explained that the works have an execution period of four months and have been awarded to the Pavasal company for an amount of 574,523 euros.
