A light car hit an eight-year-old boy at high speed at a pedestrian crossing in Cherepovets. It is reported by TASS with reference to the traffic police in the city.
The footage published in the Telegram channel SHOT shows how a child runs across the road on a zebra crossing at a yellow traffic light. However, already near the sidewalk, when the green light turned on, the boy was knocked down at full speed by a “nine”, which did not slow down before the pedestrian crossing. A 19-year-old driver was driving the car.
The child was taken to the hospital in serious condition with a contusion of the brain and a compression fracture of the spine. He is in intensive care.
It is reported that, according to preliminary data, the driver was sober, his condition will be revealed based on the results of the examination. It also turns out at what speed the VAZ-2109 was traveling and why the driver did not pay attention to other cars that slowed down before the transition.
On October 12, designer and blogger Irina Lednik, driving a Bentley, hit a child at an unregulated pedestrian crossing in western Moscow. The hit occurred at about 18:00 on Stoletov street in the area of house No. 5, the child was taken to the hospital. According to RIA Novosti, the victim is less than 12 years old.
