Dubai Health, the first integrated academic health system in Dubai, announced the signing of a strategic partnership agreement with the Irada Center for Treatment and Rehabilitation in Dubai, with the aim of enhancing cooperation between the two sides in the fields of health, treatment and rehabilitation.
Under the partnership, the two sides will cooperate in several areas, including exchanging best practices that benefit both sides, especially in the areas of exchanging experiences and providing consultations in various fields, in addition to cooperation in strategic projects and scientific research, as well as training and education, and clinical and administrative fields. This contributes to improving patient care and enhancing addiction treatment and rehabilitation in Dubai.
The Executive Director of Dubai Health, Dr. Amer Ahmed Sharif, said: “This strategic agreement with the Irada Center for Treatment and Rehabilitation comes within the framework of Dubai Health’s keenness to develop the health system at the level of the Emirate of Dubai, which is based on four basic pillars: care and learning. Discovery and giving, which contributes to providing the health system with the best international services and practices, to continue our efforts aimed at consolidating the presence and position of the emirate as a leading global model in improving human health.”
He added: “The Irada Center for Treatment and Rehabilitation in Dubai participates in developing policies, strategies and plans for providing treatment and rehabilitation, in addition to the preventive and awareness-raising role, which contributes to the development of the health system at the emirate level, and through this strategic agreement we look forward to benefiting from The center’s expertise and quality services enhance the health system’s capabilities in providing the best health care services in line with our (patients first) approach.”
For his part, the Executive Director of the Erada Center for Treatment and Rehabilitation in Dubai, Abdul Razzaq Amiri, stressed the center’s keenness to enhance cooperation between government departments in the Emirate of Dubai, to exchange experiences and improve the quality of services provided to citizens and residents on its territory, with the relevant authorities in the field of treatment and rehabilitation of addiction. He praised Dubai Health’s pioneering role in this sector in the Emirate of Dubai, whose goals and vision are in line with the centre’s objectives.
Amiri also praised the role of “Dubai Health” in supporting the center’s needs of complementary medical services that are not related to addiction, such as dental services, receiving emergency cases referred by the center, and the areas of providing medicines and laboratories, and the support it provides to the Irada Center’s initiatives to create an integrated model that helps Reducing the phenomenon of abuse at the state level.
This partnership comes within the framework of strengthening cooperation between the Irada Center for Treatment and Rehabilitation in Dubai and Dubai Health, and also reflects their joint commitment to providing high-quality health services in the region.
