Patrick the Starfish could finally be the protagonist of a new video game related to the series SpongeBob SquarePantsaccording to some retailer listings that list the title “The Patrick Star Game” as coming soon.
There has been no official announcement yet, but the presence of a cover and various details such as the official synopsis and PEGI registration suggests that the game in question is indeed on its way, yet to be announced by the publisher. Outright Games Team.

The Patrick Star Game seems to be a game physics-based open worlda definition that makes you think of gameplay similar to Totally Reliable Delivery Service or Human: Fall Flat, but focused on the SpongeBob characters, which could prove to be quite interesting.
For now we can see the cover, which seems very realistic, and a first introduction attached in the retailers’ price list.

This already tells us something about what the game will be like, which seems to be a sort of open world sandbox with settings and characters from the series, probably with various objectives to complete in rather crazy situations thanks to the “broken” physics, as per the manual.
We are therefore waiting for official information and, at this point, a possible presentation perhaps as early as this month for The Patrick Star Game.
