Most of the education What a child receives comes from home, whether with his parents or with the adult figures that the child has in his life. This is complemented, to a large extent, by the one given in a school.
Some children, out of necessity or choice of their parents, go to childcare centers or daycare centers from when they are a few months old or before they reach the three yearswhich is the age at which the early childhood education cycle usually begins in schools.
In those years, children begin to discover the world learn basic things such as letters, words, colors, numbers, etc., in addition to developing their psychomotor skills and improving them little by little.
Between teachers and parents, the child begins to form the basis of his or her education and learning, which continues throughout the years, going through primary education until compulsory education is finished and the child chooses whether to continue studying and forming or not.
As in other aspects of life, the teachings given at school are modernizing and adapting to new technologies and educational techniques, so schools and teachers incorporate various ways of educating and disseminating. This means that, in some cases, the way they do their work clashes with the way parents want their child to be educated.
Outrage over his son’s homework
This is exactly what has happened to ‘Triz’, a mother who identifies herself on the social network the homework that has been assigned to your child. As can be seen on the platform, Triz was responding to a reflection made by another person on the subject:
«Yesterday I argued with the little one’s teacher. I have totally refused to do a job at Canva for him to talk about what he wants to be when he grows up. I have told him that the child is going to present it on cardboard, everything done by him,” stated this mother, who later said that her son is six years old and is in 1st grade.
«She told me that “all children have a presentation.” And mine, I have answered him, but he does it. He is the one who is going to make an effortwho is going to learn and who is going to present. He ended up telling me: “but Triz, you’re a teacher.” Well, my daughter, because I am a teacher,” the mother said with indignation.

By sharing this experience, other fathers and mothers have wanted to show solidarity with what Triz has expressed, sharing thoughts that agree with this mother’s opinion. These have been some of the messages that other users have left on X:
«In my opinion, educational centers try to be modern but they do not know how to instill the good use of technologies. Yesterday, they turned off the light and the teacher refused to teach class, having 2 traditional pizza restaurants and reading a PowerPoint the rest of the classes…I don’t understand it»
«Canva… How old? It’s just that fabric… We’ve already started. What if I don’t have a computer or my child doesn’t have permission to use it? I don’t know… Always, with cardboard and cutouts. Let them do it, not us…”
«Up to 12, everything is made of cardboard made by them while they are prepared to use computers. From high school onwards, all digital and printed. “That’s how I see it.”
