A missile threat has been declared in the Glushkovsky district of the Kursk region. The governor of the region, Roman Starovoyt, announced this on March 13.
“If you are at home, you need to take shelter in rooms without windows with solid walls: in the corridor, bathroom, pantry,” says his Telegram channel.
At the same time, Starovoit added that if they are on the street, citizens should go to the nearest building or other suitable shelter.
Earlier that day, the Kursk, Voronezh, Bryansk, Leningrad and Ryazan regions were attacked by drones. Starovoit clarified that air defense systems shot down first two and then four aircraft over the region.
In addition, on March 13, a missile threat was also declared in the Gubkinsky and Starooskolsky urban districts of the Belgorod region. The regional Ministry of Emergency Situations stated that the Grayvoronsky urban district is under fire.
The Ukrainian armed forces are trying to strike Russian territories against the backdrop of a special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision to hold it was made against the backdrop of an aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
