Chihuahua—Following the violent events recorded in the municipality of Coyame del Sotol, investigative personnel from the State Attorney General’s Office carried out searches in three properties, locating in one of them a feline specimen, a cross between a lion and a tigress, called a liger.
The three buildings were abandoned and had multiple gunshot wounds on their facades, and were guarded by personnel from the National Defense Secretariat (Sedena).
The judicial interventions were carried out by agents of the Public Ministry and elements of the State Investigation Agency of the District Attorney’s Office of the Central Zone.
Criminalistics experts from the Directorate of Forensic Services and Forensic Sciences processed the scenes in the properties used as a home where they found various firearm casings, tactical clothing, as well as long gun cases and a Toyota Tundra pickup truck, 2020 model, reported stolen in Texas, USA.
In the courtyard of one of the houses, they found a feline, a cross between a lion and a tigress, with an average age of one year and two months, inside a cage, apparently in good health.
For this purpose, specialized personnel from the Federal Attorney’s Office for Environmental Protection (Profepa) intervened, who secured the specimen for safekeeping.
