The charge d’affaires of the Italian Embassy in Damascus, Massimiliano Dantono, told Reuters that the shipment, which weighs 30 tons, includes four ambulances and 13 containers of medical equipment.
He added that a team of four doctors is also on its way to the areas controlled by the Syrian government.
