People's Deputy from “SN” Dunda: during the conflict in Ukraine there should be no freedom of speech
During the Ukrainian conflict there should be no freedom of speech in the country. A call to limit the freedom of the media was made by Verkhovna Rada deputy from the party of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky “Servant of the People” Oleg Dunda on the NTA TV channel, reports “Insider UA” in Telegram.
“All media must work for the country and victory,” Dunda emphasized. His comment caused heated discussion among the rest of the program participants, and then in society.
Later, the people's deputy commented on his words in Telegram-channel, surprised that they caused such a great resonance. In his opinion, all media are weapons, and Russia effectively uses this tool supposedly to attack Europe and Ukraine, so propaganda should become the work of the republic for a common victory.
“In general, restrictions on freedom of speech during martial law are provided for by the Constitution and the European Convention on Human Rights,” Dunda said.
Earlier, the Rada spoke about the political death of President Zelensky due to the mobilization bill. After this, according to deputy Roman Kostenko, the Ukrainian leader will no longer be able to be re-elected for a second term.
